CLUB TOURNAMENT 2010

The draw and partners are being placed together with the rules on the club notice board on Tuesday 20th July 2010.

Sat 7 Aug: CENTENARY INTERNAL TOURNAMENT & FINALS DAY

There will be an Internal Tournament with the Finals Day on Saturday 7th August starting at 14.00.
Closing date for entries 19th July. Add your name to the list in the Clubhouse if you wish to take part.
ENTRY FEE: £2 for Singles and £1 for Doubles.
PETER SHERLOCK will be the referee and draw teams. Format as the P&D League, (play two sets and decide with a tie-break).
Please keep in touch and play the interim matches on time.
LADIES AND MEN'S SINGLES FINAL to be played on FRIDAY 6th August starting at 18.00.

SATURDAY starts at 14.00 with the MEN'S & LADIES DOUBLES FINAL followed by TEA.
Then the MIXED DOUBLES FINAL followed by PRIZE GIVING.
Even if you are not in the Tournament please come along on the Friday or Saturday and make it a fun day with some good tennis to watch.
For the TEA we ask you to bring a PLATE OF FOOD to share.
There is a list on the notice board to indicate whether you are bringing something sweet or savoury or both in an attempt to get a balanced spread.

Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th July from 1400 to 1600 (Closing date 20th July)
Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th August from 1400 to 1600 (Closing date 27th July)
Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th August from 1400 to 1600 (Closing date 3rd August)
Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th August from 1400 to 1600 (Closing date 10th August)

Open to children between the ages of 5 to 17. Each camp will last a total of four hours over two consecutive days.
Please book your place early. You will be sorted into suitable groups. All you need is recognized sports footwear. Racquets and balls provided.
Ring Peter Sherlock on 404644 and give the name, age, contact number of those wanting to join the group and whether your child has any illness we need to know about.
